PMK Multi-Coupling

Complement your quick coupler with an efficient quick coupling system.

With the Pister Multi-coupling (PMK) from HAIN, up to four hydraulic lines can be coupled simultaneously. The hydraulic functions of the attachments are connected to the carrier device in seconds and without any effort.

The multi-coupling was specially developed for the high pressure and volume requirements of construction machinery - drip-free, absolutely hammer-proof and can be coupled under any residual pressure in the attachment. Available in nominal sizes 10 to 25.

Why a multi-coupling?

In practice, it has been shown that tools are changed much more often using a system than without it. This means that the right attachment is always used. This saves time and protects the material. These systems have full advantages over automatic machines, especially with small and compact machines. The decisive factor here is not just the price advantage, but rather the price-performance ratio. The only slightly longer changeover time compared to automatic machines is offset by performance advantages in the coupling. Attaching it to the handle does not cause any loss of performance due to small cable cross-sections, as can occur in cramped installation situations in automatic machines. The weight saving also increases machine performance and saves fuel.

The function of the Pister Multi-Kuppling

The machine operator can change attachments quickly and easily, even when there is high residual pressure in the attachment. Contamination of the hydraulic system can be largely ruled out because easy-to-clean, flat-sealing "Flatflace" hydraulic couplings are installed. The couplings are also equipped with effective protective devices or parking garages. These devices protect against coarse dirt and dust.

The main line from DN 20 is equipped with a hydraulic lock. This prevents the quick coupling system from opening accidentally under high system pressure.

Special features of the Pister Multi-coupling

  • Multicouplers are self-locking when closed
  • From DN20 with hydraulic locking against accidental opening under pressure
  • Machine side: plug - tool side: socket
  • Different sized couplings possible in one system
  • Individual coupling assignment depending on the attachment. Blind assignment with protective caps of unused cables
  • Knee lever mechanism for optimal path-force curve (utility model protection)
  • Anti-twisting protection for couplings (increases service life)
  • Integrated Rasterization
  • Compatible with Taklock systems from W. Schäfer GmbH

Advantages of the Pister Multi-coupling

  • The multi-coupling is mounted independently of the quick coupler. This means that existing machines with a wide variety of quick couplers can continue to be used without expensive retrofitting
  • Use of hydraulic hammers and other demolition tools is possible without restrictions. Installation on the side of the handle prevents excessive exposure to dirt
  • Additional protection in uncoupled state through parking station (for tool couplings) and protective plate (machine side)
  • Extremely flat and compact design protects against damage
  • Low additional weight on the boom increases machine performance and saves fuel compared to automatic machines or similar.
  • Very easy installation using adapter plates
  • Drip-free couplings allow working in sensitive areas and in landscaping
  • Existing tool inventory can be upgraded or downgraded without major and expensive conversion work. This is an advantage when using rental tools.
